Our group works as a team around a number of different research topics. We seek new group members who are energized by doing research and who want to work with others who are similarly motivated. This FAQ provides guidance for applying to the group.
We hire MIT UROPS on a rolling basis all year. MIT undergraduates who wish to do a UROP project with the group should email Professor Lienhard directly, including a CV and a description of your interest in the group. UROP projects can often be extended into SB theses.
Admitted MIT Graduate Students
If you have been admitted to MIT and you are interested in the group, please email Professor Lienhard, including a description your research interests.
We have a limited number of postdoctoral positions. A description of available openings will be posted here when openings appear. If you wish to apply, please send a statement about your interest in the group, your CV, and two letters of recommendation.
Prospective MIT Graduate Students
If you are interested in admission to MIT, please communicate with our Graduate Office. Professor Lienhard does not make admission decisions and will not respond to inquiries about admission. You may email the graduate office here: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visiting Undergraduate Students
Unfortunately, our group has no regular positions for visiting undergraduates or undergraduate interns from other institutions.
